Old ways of knowing | Irreversible positive changes

Cultures-Based Innovation is the use of tangible and intangible cultural heritage to drive irreversable changes in peoples' attitudes, behaviors, and/or values that directly benefit communities under social and environmental distress.
This area is well embedded in design anthropology and technology methods. This area of design represents a new area of skills to explore for advanaced design and technology teachers and students. The techniques we use stretch and enhance D&T educator's practical and conceptual skills in product, system and service design projects. Service design is part of the new content emerging globally in D&T curriculum.
